In this professional online only training, you'll learn essential audition and self taping skills - using the art of Zoom. With focused personalized attention, you'll also learn how to complicated characters through specifics and your unlimited imagination.
Through 6 / 8 classes, you’ll take your "creation' even deeper into Margie’s philosophy. Our beginners intensive is for actors with no prior experience, looking to develop the basic skills needed for successful auditions, self taping, creating a character, and “Living the Life”.
Trained professionals who've already learned the basics and are now ready to be thrive as a real working actor are invited to join our Virtual Auditioning Intensive for experienced actors. This class is essential for actors who are auditioning and seeking real work in the industry.
This training will take you deeper into the process of creating a life. You’ll get out of your head and develop your relationship with the other person (instead of focusing on yourself) and with your environment. We will teach you to create emotional 'memories' and apply these tools to more challenging scripts ('slices of life'), so that you can handle the complexities of a full script or play.
When you’re done with these classes, you’ll have an understanding of how to create a life, through specifics and your unlimited imagination, which will be there for you to count on when it matters most… for a real audition.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure you sign up for the correct session. If you are brand new, please enroll in our Beginners session.
For experienced actors - To participate, you should have some previous training with our studio (or other serious acting classes) or professional experience with commercials, theater, films or shorts.
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
TANIA NOLAN
Having earned a Bachelor of Performing Arts at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, Tania quickly landed her first lead TV role on The Hothouse after graduating. Since then, she’s appeared in numerous recurring and series regular role in US and Australian series. In 2016, she began her studies with Margie Haber: “I wish I had found Margie so much sooner! It’s a game-changer. Focusing on creation, relationships, and experience is what frees us from the fear that often cripples actors, especially under the pressures of an audition."
ONLINE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
BEGINNERS - Meet once a week for 6 weeks, usually 5 hours.
EXPERIENCED ACTORS - Meet twice a week for 4 weeks.
8 full day sessions usually 5 – 7 hours each.
Every student works in every class.
Intimate groups limited to no more than 12 students.
