Expand Your Imagination and Increase Your Confidence
In this intermediate training, you'll learn essential audition skills. With focused personalized attention, you'll also learn how to create characters using specifics and imagination.
Through 8 classes over the course of four weeks, you’ll take your "creation" even deeper into Margie’s philosophy. We call this training our INTERMEDIATE INTENSIVE because you've already learned the basics and are now ready to be trained as a real professional actor. This class is essential for actors who are auditioning and seeking real work in the industry.
This training will take you deeper into the process of creating a life. You’ll get out of your head and develop the relationship with the other person (instead of focusing on yourself) as well as with your environment. We will teach you to create emotional 'memories' and apply to more challenging scripts ('slices of life'), so that you can handle the complexities of a full script or play.
When you’re done with these classes, you’ll have an understanding of how to create a life, through specifics and your imagination, which will be there for you to count on when it matters most… for a real audition.
IMPORTANT: This class is not for beginners or new actors. To participate you should have some previous training with our studio (or other serious acting classes), or you should have some professional experience with commercials, theater, films, or shorts.
WILL GRESSMAN
Will has appeared on ABCs The Conners and Fox’s 9-1-1. He has done several feature films and award-winning shorts. His New York theater experience is extensive, with credits including As You Like It at Classic Stage Co. and plays with Obie Award-winning theatre troupe Vampire Cowboys. Teaching at Margie Haber Studio, Will incorporates all his skills and experience to share with other creative minds.
IMAN NAZEMZEDEH
In 2003, Iman made his TV debut on NBC’s movie of the week. Upon graduating from SMU, he landed a role in NBC’s LAX. He had recently completed the feature film Sin City when he was cast in a brief recurring role on The Young and the Restless. Since then, Iman has appeared in over a dozen TV shows, including NCIS: Hawaii and The Old Man. Iman is beyond grateful to have found Margie's teachings that help actors become more deeply intimate with the Self to live happier, truthful, and more authentic lives.
